This is a small design and architecture practice based in the northern Italian mountains and in Sydney. Valentina's focus is to create simple and high-quality homes and everyday objects in small production runs. This design is entirely handcrafted by Valentina Candioli, in Italy or in Australia, in collaboration with local artisans.

 

Questo è un piccolo studio di design e architettura nato tra le montagne italiane del nord e l'Australia. La ricerca di Valentina è quella di creare interni fatti a mano e

oggetti quotidiani di alta qualità, prodotti in piccola serie. Questo design è

interamente realizzato a mano da Valentina Candioli, in Italia o in Australia, in collaborazione con artigiani locali.

Valentina Candioli is an Italian architect and product designer. She was born in Rovereto (Trento, Italy) and graduated in Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice. After studies in Italy and Portugal, she travelled extensively and developed an interest in all the traditional craftsmanship of each country. Valentina is currently living between Italy and Australia and works with the natural materials of the artisanal tradition such as timber, marble, porcelain, linen, concrete, copper, silk and brass.

Valentina Candioli è un architetto e designer italiana. Nasce a Rovereto (Trento, Italy) e si laurea in Architettura all'Università IUAV di Venezia. Dopo gli studi in Italia e in Portogallo, Valentina comincia a viaggiare e matura l'interesse per l'artigianato tradizionale di ogni Paese. Valentina al momento vive tra Italia e Australia e lavora con i materiali naturali della tradizione artigianale come legno, marmo, porcellana, lino, cemento, rame, seta e ottone.
